Background and interests

I am a graduate student in philosophy at Oxford University. I currently volunteer as researcher for the Centre for Effective Altruism. When still at Cambridge, I set up the local chapter of Giving What We Can.

In my future career, I am happy to embark on whatever trajectory promises to have the potential for the greatest positive impact. Options I am currently considering include working on EA research and advocacy either at an EA-nonprofit or as an academic, and going into asset management in order to earn to give.

Causes I support

  • Protecting future generations: Reducing existential risks
  • Animal welfare
  • Meta-activities
  • High impact research
