Rob studied genetics and economics at the Australian National University (ANU), graduating top of his class and being named Young Alumnus of the Year in 2015.
He worked in government, then in research to identify the highest impact donation opportunities, then from 2015 lead our work to identify the careers with the greatest positive social impact as our Director of Research.
He launched The 80,000 Hours Podcast in 2017 and has hosted it since.
