What if I don’t know which of the priority areas I will work on?
One of the ways we’ve helped people the most is helping them compare between their options to find their comparative advantage and personal fit, and then to come up with a path forward. So if that’s you, we’d encourage you to apply.
What if I’m still studying? What if I don’t have an imminent decision to make?
We’ve helped people from high school to seasoned professionals, so we’d encourage you to apply and see if we can help.
I’m very involved in the effective altruism community. Will your coaching still be useful?
We’ve helped people highly engaged with the EA community, introducing them to new employers, donors, collaborators, and mentors. Even if you’re very familiar with the ideas and involved with the community, we can probably help you, and you should apply!
When will I find out if I’ve been accepted?
We’ll let you know the result of your application within a month, and usually within a week. If you have an urgent decision to make, we encourage you to put that in your application, and email email@example.com.
Why wasn’t I accepted?
Unfortunately, due to overwhelming demand, we can’t coach everyone who applies. However, we’re confident that everyone who is reading this has what it takes to lead a fulfilling, high impact career. Our free career guide contains all our best advice on this topic – we hope you’ll find it useful.
If you’re thinking of re-applying, you can improve your chances by:
